Alissa Batdorff's class at Alliance Elementary School has been writing back and forth to penpals in Alicante, Spain! Kamryn Bondoni, a 2021 graduate of Alliance High School, is currently teaching English abroad in Spain as part of her study abroad program through Mount Union. The students in both classes have been exchanging letters since February!
Mrs. Batdorff's class spent time learning about Spain and their culture through pictures, maps, videos, snacks and virtual tours sent by Kamryn. They've even learned a little bit of Spanish!
The class truly enjoyed learning more about and exploring another country through other students' eyes! #RepthatA

The students in Sam Young's class at Alliance Elementary School planted a variety of seeds, including tomatoes, peas and flowers! πͺ΄ They have been watching them grow and learning how to take care of them. Once they're big enough, the students will be able to take them home and plant them so they have their very own gardens! π± #RepthatA
