Steph Smith's and Alissa Batdorff's classes at Alliance Elementary School adopted a cow for a class project! The Purple Cow and Dairy Princess Kaitlyn Bondoni visited their class to introduce their calf, Jolene, that they virtually adopted from Four Pines Farm in Sugarcreek, Ohio. The Dairy Princess and Purple Cow brought a box of clues for students to guess what they were adopting. They will be continuing this project through writings, research, and presentations throughout the school year to learn about the life of a calf, dairy farms and careers in agriculture. #RepthatA

Students at Alliance Early Learning School and Alliance Elementary School took part in a safety drawing contest hosted by Morgan Engineering. Six students from each school had their drawings selected to be featured in the 2024 Morgan Engineering safety calendar. Each school also received a generous donation. We are lucky to have Morgan Engineering as one of our community partners! Chelsea Young’s 3rd grade class at Alliance Elementary School learned about culture and traditions during the first unit of the year. Students completed an end of unit project in which they were required to create a parade float. Each float included details about their families, culture, community and traditions. How cool! #RepthatA

As you're preparing for the holidays, if you have old or broken Christmas lights, don't forget to drop them off in the boxes located outside of each school building. The lights will be recycled after the holiday season! #RepthatA

The students at Alliance Elementary School were visited by the Men Making A Difference Readers! Each month, a group of community members visit AES to read to the students in 2nd and 3rd grade. The students love listening to the guest readers and talking to them afterwards. #RepthatA

The students at Alliance Elementary School had many visitors celebrate Thanksgiving with them last week! Community members, ACS administrators and volunteers enjoyed a meal with the students and heard plenty of jokes and reasons the students were thankful. It was a great time for the students, staff and visitors! A big thank you goes out to the cafeteria staff for helping to organize and put on the feasts at each of the buildings this year! We are beyond grateful to have them on the Aviator Team! #RepthatA

Thanksgiving break is just around the corner! Students will have Wednesday, Nov. 22 - Friday, Nov. 24 off for the holiday. School will be in session the Monday and Tuesday before break. Make sure your child attends both days so they don’t miss valuable instruction time. #RepthatA

Alliance Elementary School students invited Veterans to take part in their annual Veterans Day assembly today! The students sang patriotic songs, read letters they wrote and celebrated all the Veterans in attendance. Great job, AES! #RepthatA
