Students in Addie Bender, Trisha Bartel, and Diana Fails' 2nd grade classes at AES participated in Apple Day! Clinical practitioner from YSU, Delaney Willoughby, who is completing her student teaching in these classes planned a cross curricular day all about apples. It was a very fun day of learning! The students completed apple lessons in reading, writing, science, social studies, music, art, and math! They ended the day with a special apple snack. #RepthatA

Men from the Alliance community visit AES classrooms once a month to read to the students and answer their questions.
