Kevin Kern, a theatre professor from Mount Union, visited all the classrooms in the Green Hallway at AES to read "The Grinch" before winter break. He was awesome! The students then made thank you notes to go along with their discussion of acts of kindness for the month of December. #RepthatA

Steph Smith's and Alissa Batdorff's classes at Alliance Elementary School adopted a cow for a class project! The Purple Cow and Dairy Princess Kaitlyn Bondoni visited their class to introduce their calf, Jolene, that they virtually adopted from Four Pines Farm in Sugarcreek, Ohio. The Dairy Princess and Purple Cow brought a box of clues for students to guess what they were adopting. They will be continuing this project through writings, research, and presentations throughout the school year to learn about the life of a calf, dairy farms and careers in agriculture. #RepthatA
