The AES Girls on the Run participants have been training for a 5k! Last week at practice, they invited their teachers, families and even some of the AHS long distance runners to join them as they ran 11 laps around AES (the equivalent of a 5k).
We are so proud of these girls and all their hard work during the Girls on the Run program! We know they are going to crush the 5k in just a few weeks! #RepthatA

Reminder: There's no school Tuesday for all ACS students! #RepthatA

The students in Kaley Sloane's and Kara Hill's class have been learning about different sounds they hear around them and how different types of music can have different sounds. They then went around the building to conduct a survey to determine Alliance Elementary School's favorite type of music.
The students had fun exploring the building to find different staff members to participate in the survey. Once the data was collected they worked together to graph it and find the results. Based off their findings, country music was the winner! #RepthatA

Don't forget tomorrow's an early dismissal! Students will be released two hours earlier than their normal end time. #RepthatA
