Hello Rockhill & Parkway Families Unfortunately, due to very poor weather conditions expected this Saturday, we are going to have to reschedule the carnival for a later date. As soon as we arrange a new day and time with Silver Park, we will notify all students and families. We truly look forward to this fun event!

Mrs. Lucas & Ms. Waller's class conducted observations on red, green, and yellow apples like scientists by using their five senses. They recorded their observations and wrote about their favorite type of apple. Everyone was in agreement that observing with their sense of TASTE was the best part of the lesson!

Congratulations to Mrs. Muller, Mrs. Lucas, Mrs. Oesch and Mrs. Mcgeehen's classes for earning the most tally marks for outstanding cafeteria behavior! The students ate lunch on stage with Mrs. Balderson and enjoyed a special treat! Keep up the great work Rockhill!

The Alliance City Health Department provides immunizations to the following VFC eligible children: -Children who do not have any form of health insurance -Children who have one of the Medicaid Insurances: CareSource, Buckeye, United Healthcare Community, Molina or Paramount -Children who are Under-Insured (parent must provide insurance documentation of under –insured status) Cost is $20 per immunization; sliding fee scale is available. Shots are free with an eligible Medicaid card (see list above). Parents must bring insurance card and shot record to the appointment. Child must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. No child who is VFC eligible will be turned away due to inability to pay. All Immunization clinics are by appointment only. Please call 330-821-7373 X 20. Monday 1pm-3:45pm Tuesday 1pm-3:45pm; late clinics are held the First and Third Tuesdays of each month 2pm-5:30pm Thursday 1pm-3:45pm (at least up through September and possibly October if needed) Friday 8:45am-10-45am

Rockhill had a Rockin first day! Students discussed their summer adventures, learned about classroom expectations, met new friends, wrote in their journals and listened as their teachers read stories about the first day of school! We are going to have a wonderful year!

The 2016-2017 school year starts tomorrow! We can't wait to see everyone in the morning.

We will be having open house tonight for grades 2-3! We hope to see everyone there!

Parents: don't forget to take advantage of the Ohio sales tax holiday for school supplies and clothes. Aug 5, 6, and 7!

Youth Football and Cheer Signup: The Alliance Aviators youth football and cheer sign-ups will be on July 12th, 13th, and 14th from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at AHS. There will be cheer uniform fittings at this time too.
