The December #LikeAGirl event featured guest speakers Allison Morrison and Tori Popio who spoke about "Giving the Gift of Friendship!" 🩷
Special guests Isabella Hall and Lilyan Ronske from the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival Queen's Court participated in the discussion and helped with the activities. 50 girls and 16 mentors made and gave away their very own friendship bracelets! #RepthatA
The students in Tanya Coler's class at Alliance Early Learning School learned about advent calendars and how they help children count down the days to Christmas. 📅 Each student received their own advent calendar filled with yummy chocolate that they will open once a day for a sweet treat! 🍬😋

Over 400 students and family members attended the PTO Hot Pots night last week! The students got to use their art skill and painted a mug or a plate with their own special design. 🎨
After painting, they enjoyed hot cocoa and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus! 🎅

The kindergarten classes read "Balloons Over Broadway," a true story about a man who invented the upside down marionettes that are now used in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. After reading the story, the student designed and made their own balloons! The projected ended with all kindergartners parading through the halls of Alliance Early Learning School for the staff and 1st graders to see their balloons! 🎈

Morgan Engineering once again hosted their safety calendar drawing contest and selected 12 of our wonderful Aviators' artwork to be featured in the calendar! Each student received their framed drawing and a gift card to Dairy Queen.
Along with the gifts for the students, Morgan Engineering generously donated $1000 to each school that participated in the contest! We are so very grateful to Morgan Engineering and their partnership with and support of ACS!

Tracy Bowser's kindergarten class celebrated Fall by enjoying one of the best fall flavors - apples! 🍎 They tasted 12 apple products: apple pie, apple juice, cookie, muffins, chips, candy, marshmallows, and more. Afterwards, they charted what they tasted using a descriptive word and if they liked it or not. Each student also brought in an apple to make homemade applesauce! 🍏 #RepthatA
