Awesome Art!
Mrs. Marinchek's third class has been learning about famous artists! This week, the students learned of the work created by Andy Warhol. They recreated his Campbell's soup can through directed-drawing and will color their can in the style of Pop Art.
Mrs. Marichek's first grade art class is busy sorting bottle caps collected from Alliance City Schools' friends and family! Our bin is filled nearly every week and we are STILL collecting! The students are given a bucket of caps and work together in small groups to sort the caps by color. These caps will be used to complete a large-scale mural this spring. Additional bottle caps may be at the school office.
