Raider Aviator Connection!
\r\nSenior education majors from The University of Mount Union have been working with second and third graders at Rockhill Elementary since September. The RAC (Raiders, Aviators, Collaboration) program is in its fifth year, and has proven itself to be a huge success with all students involved. Mount classes are held at Rockhill and after their class session these UMU students work one to one with their Rockhill student. The pairings work on reading and writing strategies, grammar, and vocabulary. The students from Mount Union plan very engaging literacy activities to share with our Rockhill Students. What an excellent example of collaboration, community involvement, and overall love of learning!
