Recently, a firefighter from our local fire department visited and read to Chelsea Young’s class as part of the Men Making a Difference reading program. Men from the Alliance community visit AES classrooms once a month to read to the students and answer their questions. We love having this program available to our 2nd and 3rd grade Aviators! #RepthatA

The Goodwill Drive to Victory starts Monday!
Alliance is competing against Carrollton for this year's Goodwill Drive to Victory donation drive! Donations will be collected Monday-Friday. A Goodwill trailer will be in the back parking lot of the high school from 7 am - 3 pm Monday-Thursday and from 7 am - noon on Friday. All donations must be dropped off at the Goodwill trailer.
The school with the most donations wins a $250 scholarship! Go Aviators! #RepthatA
Thank you to all the fathers and father figures who participated in the Fathers Walk Your Child to School Day yesterday! 354 students were walked to school with 293 fathers participating in the event. What an amazing turn out! #RepthatA

The students at Alliance Elementary School kicked off their Dot Day activities last Friday by coloring their own dot to make their mark. Each student's dot will be added to a display that will be up all year.
