AELS Prepares for Registration

Preschool and kindergarten registration for Alliance Early Learning School (AELS) is just around the corner. Registration packets are available at all of the school buildings in the district including the administration building.

Registration will take place Mar. 23-27 at Alliance High School, 400 Glamorgan St.

AELS was recently awarded All A’s on their state report card, a feat they have accomplished for the second year in a row.

The staff at AELS are certified teachers, even the preschool teachers. This is not a common occurrence in many preschools. The students begin at the age of three or four in a classroom setting and learn skills necessary to prepare them for kindergarten.

AELS is unique in the fact that it houses all the preschoolers and kindergartners in the Alliance City School District in one building. The young students can spend up to three years in the building- two years in preschool and one year in kindergarten.

“Enrolling your child in a quality early childhood program, like Alliance Early Learning School, is one of the best ways to start your child on a strong educational path,” said Holly Power, preschool coordinator at AELS. “Our preschool at AELS is a Five-Star rated program through Step Up to Quality, has all A’s on the State Report Card and works with families to make tuition affordable. Our highly qualified staff believes in building relationships with our students first to assure academic success later.”

If parents are unable to register their children Mar. 23-27, they will still be able to register their child throughout the rest of the school year and in the summer. Registration packets can be picked up outside of Door #2 at AHS or any of the district buildings. A secure drop box is also available outside Door #2 to safely return completed registration packets.
