Dear Rockhill Families and Friends,
Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year!
The role of principal entails many exciting opportunities associated with student achievement. However, most importantly, my personal and professional goal is to provide children at Rockhill with the best educational experience possible – one that will build a foundation for life-long learning. We follow "The Golden Rule", work collaboratively in our cooperative educational groups and we celebrate success often! Many wonderful things are happening at Rockhill!
Hopefully, the summer has provided you with many memorable opportunities to spend time with family and friends. It continues to be an honor and privilege to serve as the principal of Rockhill Elementary. As we prepare for the 2016-2017 academic year, I am reminded that the beginning of school is truly a special time, and I am eagerly looking forward to partnering with you as we continue to nurture the ongoing development of your child.
I look forward to meeting our students and their families at our Back to School Open House on Wednesday, August 17 at 5:00 pm. We will meet in the gymnasium to share important information regarding policies and procedures at Rockhill. Students will then have the opportunity to visit their classroom and drop off their school supplies. Classrooms assignments will be posted on the main entry doors as well as the cafeteria doors on Friday, August 12 at 4:00.

Rockhill teachers are working with enthusiasm getting their rooms organized and ready for our students. The office and custodial staff have also been working extra hard in getting the school clean and ready for a great school year. I look forward to continuing our work together as we support Rockhill Elementary! I hope you enjoy the final days of summer!
