Navigators will start 1/2 hour later on those days but will end at its normal time.
Additionally, the last day of school is now May 29, instead of May 28. Afternoon bus schedules will also be adjusted by 30 minutes. If you have questions, please contact your individual school building or the administration office.

August 28 - 8am Coffee with the Principal
Ms. Hiser will be sharing 2013 OAA state test results. She will also be fielding questions and sharing information regarding the Third Grade Guarantee and new state testing information.
September 10 - 8am “Building Routines and Helping Kids Stay Organized”
Ms. Jessica from Child and Adolescents will be offering ideas on how to build and maintain a steady routine in your home! With activities and school work to complete, the short amount of time your child(children) have with you at home can be very, very busy! Join us to find ways to get everything done with everyone in your home!

Mrs. Balderson will be sharing information about the SFA Roots program. This presentation is geared toward 1st grade and 2nd grade parents but all are welcomed!
***September 26 - 8am Alliance Middle School!!!!!!!!
AMS staff will provide information to parents about programs offered at Alliance Middle School.
**September 26th- 7:15pm State Test Scores/Open Forum
Ms. Hiser will share Rockhill’s test scores for 2013 and explain parts of the new school report card. Ms. Hiser will also be available for an open discussion about ideas and concerns to help Rockhill serve our little Aviators.
October 2 - 8am Motivating Kids to Read !!!!!!!!!!!
Mrs. Balderson will be sharing ideas on how to motivate your children to read. She will also answer any questions you may have regarding SFA.
October 9 - 8am Third Grade Guarantee and Retention
Ms. Hiser will be presenting information regarding the “Third Grade Guarantee” and how it applies to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students for the 2013-2014 school year. It is highly recommended for parents of 1st through 3rd graders to attend this informational session.
October 16 - 8am Math Mania!!!!!!!!
Ms. Garland will be showing families how to have fun while practicing math skills! The new common core standards for math will also be available for families to help spread the word about the new expectations for our students in math!
October 22 - 8am “Family Harmony”
Ms. Lance from C&A will be sharing some ideas on how to create a positive family environment. This will include strategies on how to help siblings, step siblings, cousins, and other child family members get along as well as adults living in the home.
