Dear Rockhill Families and Friends,
November brings us cooler weather and a month of activities. During this busy time it is also the month to reflect on what we are thankful for. My list includes my family, good health and the staff, students and families at Rockhill! Thank you to all of the parent/community volunteers who have come to Rockhill this year. Your gift of time has made a difference with both our students and staff.
We are looking forward to seeing you at parent teacher conferences which will be held Thursday, Nov.19 and Monday, Nov.23. You should have received a confirmation time from your child’s teacher. If you did not receive a time, please call the school office @ 330-829-2600. As you know, the information that is shared with you at these conferences is very important, and your input is valuable as we work together to assist your child in growing academically, socially, and behaviorally. The staff and I thank you for your continued support in your child’s education. Our students will continue to flourish with the strong partnership between school and home.
The role of principal entails many exciting opportunities associated with student achievement. However, most importantly, my personal and professional goal is to provide children at Rockhill with the best educational experience possible – one that will build a foundation for life-long learning. We follow "The Golden Rule", work collaboratively in our cooperative educational groups and we celebrate success often! Many wonderful things are happening at Rockhill!
